Best Muesli Ever

Make your own nutritious, filling, low sugar muesli.

The amaranth is a nutritious wholegrain and good source of protein and the ground linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds provide a balanced source of essential fatty acids and fibre. A nutritious sustaining breakfast to kick start your day!


2 cups oats

1 cup puffed amaranth

1/4 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup LSA (ground linseed, sunflower seeds and almond)

dash of vanilla essence

splash of orange juice

Combine ingredients in a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees celcius for 20mins. Stir every 5 mins.

Serve with unsweetened Greek Style yoghurt and sweeten with fresh fruit or a little dried fruit.
