5 Seed Crackers

These seed crackers are so quick and easy to make and are delicious! 5 seeds, water and a little salt and nothing else. These crackers are rich in healthy omega 3 fats, protein and antioxidants. Gluten and dairy free too. You will never buy store bought crackers again!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup sesame seeds

1/4 cup linseeds/flaxseeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup water


Method:

Heat oven to 170C. Place all the seeds and the salt into a bowl. Pour in the water and mix to combine. Leave for 20 minutes to allow the linseeds and chia seeds to absorb the water and bind all the seeds together.


Tip the seeds onto an oven tray lined with baking paper. Spread them out as this as you can and sprinkle with some sea salt. Bake for 30mins.


Remove from the oven and cut into squares, then return to oven for another 20 - 30 minutes until crisp and golden.


Cool on a rack then store in an airtight container.
